How Vymeros currently handles payments
- Listing and swapping are free. Publishing an item, browsing, messaging and proposing a swap do not cost anything today.
- Vymeros does not currently hold transaction funds. There is no escrow, wallet or stored balance. Buyers and sellers exchange directly.
- Complete payment or trade only through channels you trust and can document. Never send money outside a documented, reversible method to a stranger.
Refunds
- Because Vymeros does not process transactions, we cannot issue refunds for items sold or swapped between users.
- Refunds are the responsibility of the seller, buyer and their payment provider.
- Report suspected fraud, misrepresentation or unsafe items through the in-app Contact & Support form (category: Payment problem or Report a user).
Optional paid features (future)
- Vymeros may introduce paid promotions, verification tiers, or protected marketplace payments in the future.
- Any paid feature will show its price and terms clearly before you are charged.
- If protected payments launch, Vymeros will use a regulated processor and publish a full Refund Policy at that time.
Chargebacks and reversals
- If you pay outside of Vymeros, chargebacks and reversals are handled by your payment provider or bank.
- Vymeros may cooperate with fraud investigations by providing basic account and listing information required by law.
Taxes
Buyers and sellers are responsible for any sales tax, GST/HST, use tax, customs duties or income tax that applies to their transactions.
