This is a plain-language draft for the Vymeros marketplace serving Canada and the United States. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not constitute legal advice. Vymeros will publish a reviewed version before a full commercial launch.

Safe. Verified. Professional.

2. Verified Medical Seller

Professional sellers may apply for the optional Vymeros Verified Medical Seller status by submitting their legal business name, business registration, country, business address, contact information, website, medical-equipment business type, dealer or distributor information, applicable licences or permits, and regulatory documentation where required.

Once approved, the listing shows ✅ Verified Medical Seller.

Vymeros verification confirms that selected seller information has been reviewed. It does not replace regulatory approvals or professional licences.

3. Medical listing information

Medical sellers provide manufacturer, model, serial number, year manufactured, condition, tested or untested status, functional status, accessories included, software version where applicable, previous use, refurbishment and refurbisher details, calibration status, last service date, regulatory classification and licence number where known, the country where the equipment is located, the countries the seller will ship to, and whether the item is professional use only.

Serial numbers may be hidden from public view while remaining visible to Vymeros for verification.

4. Condition labels

  • NewUnused, in original packaging where applicable.
  • Used – Tested & WorkingPowered on and function-checked by the seller. Describe exactly what was tested.
  • Used – UntestedNot confirmed operational. Vymeros will attach an untested warning to the listing.
  • For Parts / RepairSold as components. Not usable without repair.
  • RefurbishedRestored by a named refurbisher. Refurbisher details are required.

Untested equipment may never be described as fully operational.

5. Vymeros AI medical review

When photos and listing information are submitted, the Vymeros AI scanner attempts to identify equipment type, manufacturer, model, likely professional or consumer category, visible serial and model plates, condition indicators, missing accessories, possible damage, possible regulatory or compliance risk, recall-related keywords, and professional-use terminology. It then assigns an internal risk score:

  • LOW RISKPublishes normally.
  • MEDIUM RISKVymeros requests additional seller information before the listing earns full visibility.
  • HIGH RISKHeld for manual Vymeros Compliance Review before publishing.

Vymeros AI never states that a product is legally approved based on an image.
